Kiwi couple looking for a room in Edinburgh

Hi there!
We are a youngish kiwi couple who have just moved to the UK on two year work visas, we are currently interviewing for jobs in Edinburgh (Nick's an Engineer, Tammy's a seamstress/kitchen designer/accountant). We are open to short term lets while we get ourselves sorted, but also interested in longer term options.
We're after somewhere clean and comfortable where we can make friends in a new-to-us city.
