Double room in Balham / Clapham S

hi!

our housemate is moving so we're looking for someone to fill in the third double bedroom in our lovely Balham flat.

about the room/flat

the room is a big double with a huge windows and lots of light. comes furnished apart from but the desk / chair / mirror and bedside table will be going

the bathroom is huge (never seen a bath quite like it) and the nicest thing about the flat in my opinion is the living room with a small balcony - allows us to chill out somewhere together other than our rooms and hopefully lots of fresh air in the summer!

about the location

fab location 15-20 minute walk to balham, clapham south or streatham hill stations so you have a choice of 3 great transport links! plus the bus stop (50) is right outside the flat

the flat is part of a 3 block estate and is on the first floor (one flight of stairs) there is a lift (small, unfortunately not reliable or wheelchair accessible).

the building is fob-access so nice and safe and the neighbours are nice (they take in our parcels) also tooting common is a 5 minute walk away!

about us

not a party house but we do have the occasional dinner parties, host predrinks and love a pub visit.

we both have 9-5 jobs and do a mix of wfh and office days. One of us works from the living room when wfh but you’d also be free to use the room at this time.

we're looking for another professional to join us for council tax purposes.

bills: ~£150 (includes gas, electricity, water, wifi and council tax)
deposit: £1,072.90
minimum term: until october 7th 2024

what next?

The contract will be from July 6th however the room will be available from ~mid June if you need to move in sooner.
