Fun and clean female flatmate - Balham!

Hi girls! Our lovely flatmate is moving back to Scotland, so we’re looking for a girl to replace her in the tenancy as we extend for another year! The new contract would officially begin on 8th June for 12 months, but we can move earlier if needed.

Rent is £1,105 pcm and includes all bills other than council tax (gas, electric, water, wifi), plus access to a gym in the building, bike storage, games room, and a storage area which is ideal for keeping suitcases etc. Council tax is only around £20 each per month.

The has been recently renovated and we’ve tried to give it a homely touch. It has a spacious terrace ideal for sipping an Aperol spritz in the sun or a bbq. We’ve enjoyed the flat as it’s bright, modern, and warm during the winter months. It is less than one minute from Balham station, a big Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Boots, and all the pubs and restaurants Balham has to offer!

You would have the smallest room in the flat - the rooms are modern with double beds and have a good amount of built in storage. The room does not have space for a desk however you would get priority for working in the living area (brightest and best work space in the house) - our current flat mate uses the kitchen table, but we’re also happy for you to set up a little office corner there. You’d be sharing the bathroom with one of us as the other room has an ensuite.

We’re looking for someone looking to make friends more than just flatmates! Someone of similar age who is clean, sociable, and overall a good vibe. Ideally working in the office 2+ days/week. We need a professional earning around 30k to pass landlord checks, no students or couples.

We’re two 24 year old girls who work in sustainability consulting in the city! We met through work and have been friends since, and have lived together for the past year. Though we knew each other before and have friends in common, we also have our separate friendships groups. We’re really looking forward to making friends with our future housemate! x

We are sociable, like a good pub / night out, coffee walks, weekend brunch, exploring London, shopping, and also spending week nights together binging some good old trash tv / rom coms. We occasionally work later hours, so want someone who is also happy to have quieter evenings in the week.
