Double room + office loft in Canada Water

We’re looking for someone to fill a generous, bright, double room and loft space in Canada Water from the start of June. You’d be living with three other clean, friendly professionals 7 mins walk from both Canada Water and Surrey Quays stations, as well as a shopping centre with a Tesco Extra (!!) and barely three seconds walk from leafy green Southwark park.

The bedroom is on the first floor, furnished with bed, bookshelf, loads of built in cupboard space, and a freestanding wooden hanger if you want it. The loft area is in the extension, one floor up right above the bedroom. It has a skylight in the roof and is perfect for anyone who needs some extra private space to set up an office, studio, practice room or a yoga mat.

The house is semi-detached on a quiet street and features a lockable bike shed, garden, modern kitchen with washer/dryer, large shared area and absolute sun-trap of a conservatory, two bathrooms, as well as loads of additional storage space.

I’m only giving up this wonderful place to move in with my partner. It’s the best flat I’ve had in London. The people who are here are part of a long-running tenancy and have a great relationship with the landlord who cares about the house, but is never intrusive. The flatmates are always up for a chat but also very happy to do our own thing, and have had the luxury of being able to spread out in a large house.
