Double Room in Clapham

Hello! Our flatmate is moving out to live with his girlfriend, so we're looking for someone to join us in our lovely flat!

The flat is the upper ground floor of a 1960s four flat building on one of the nicest roads in the area. It was once our landlord's home and we've treated it as a real home too.

We deal directly with our landlord, who lives locally. We've only had to speak to him a handful of times and he's always been prompt to deal with any issues. The boiler was replaced in early 2022 and a new oven was fitted earlier this year.

The flat has hard wood floors and neutral decor throughout. There's a large living room with a six seater dining table and two sofas.

We have a secure off-road parking space at the rear of the building. There is a small communal lawn at the rear and a small bike store for the building.

The bedroom measures 9' by 9' and comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, and a bedside table. The bedroom is at the rear of the flat and overlooks the garden, so is very quiet.

The flat is in a great location within Clapham. It's a ten minute walk to Clapham Common underground station or Wandsworth Road overground. It's a 60 second walk out to Wandsworth Road, with easy bus connections to Vauxhall and the West End, or Clapham Junction in the other direction.

*The Flatmates*
We’re both easy going, sociable, enjoy cooking, music, films, theatre, trips to the pub and like going out to explore London. Myself (34 gay guy) and Simona (35) are professionals and work in the office 3 days a week and 2 from home.

*The Bills*
We roughly each pay £200 per month for bills (Council tax, energy, water, broadband/TV, TV licence and two visits a month from our cleaner). We've been using an app called Settle Up to keep track of everything and find that it works really well.

We are preferably looking for someone who is similar in age to us and works from home a max of 2 days a week.
