Unusual and interesting offer (updated)

Note: This offer for free accommodation only lasts for two months as we are moving house at the end of June. I am reposting this ad, as our needs have changed slightly. I am a 58 year old teacher and live in a spacious house with my disabled wife (Emily) . Also living in the house is my 24 year old son and a 28 year old Dutch lady (Sophie) who is helping to care for Emily. Sophie has taken on a remote job which means that she has less time during the day to look after Emily. We are therefore looking for an additional person to come and live with us for free, and we would pay for food and bills. In exchange, you would be available to help Emily during the day and to do chores around the house. The main things would be to go for a walk with Emily most days (we live by the river and walks are nice), and keep her company. You would also help with the household chores such as cleaning, and helping with the packing for the move. If you enjoy cooking you could do that too. In total, you would be expected to spend about 3 hours a day on caring/ chores. The role would suit someone who works evenings, or is looking for a job. We are moving house at the end of June so you would have to agree to move out then too. All household members contribute to the upkeep of the house and we have a culture of helping each other out.

Parkinson's is a movement disorder and most of the time the medication she takes deals with the symptoms, but a few times a day she is "OFF" and this when she is "stuck" and benefits from an able-bodied person. You would not be required to be around at weekends. In addition to English, I speak Spanish and my wife speaks English and French.
