En-suite double room in Fish Island / Hackney Wick

The shared living room

Looking to share this gorgeous, quiet, peaceful, bright flat in Fish Island, 5 mins walk from Hackney Wick overground. The living room and balcony overlook the river Lea. You eat your breakfast and watch riverboats, rowers and ducks cruise by.

Price includes bills, broadband and council tax.

En-suite bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and desk, and view of the garden and Lea river.

So here's the catch: I have two children, aged 9 and 11, who are with me 3 out of 7 days per week. On those days, I give them my bedroom to sleep in, and I sleep on the sofa in the living room.

So you have to be ok with handing over a bit of extra living room space/time 3 nights a week. The children are super lovely and I'm very tidy so when they're not here, all the "kids stuff" will be tidied away if that makes sense.

The price reflects all of this. Without the "kids thing", I'd say based on comparable listings that this room/space would go for about £1400-£1500 pcm.

I am looking for someone who (like me) is not at the flat ALL the time, so that we can also share info via a Google calendar about when we can each have the place to ourselves - which is super important too I think.

There are two double rooms en-suite with their own bathroom, and I've yet to decide which one to rent out so that we can discuss. One of them currently has a kids bunk that I'm going to replace with an adult double.
