Double room in Earlsfield/Wandsworth

Room:
🛏️ Decent sized double. The room is located on the top floor of the flat. There’s a chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and a small built-in wardrobe. It’s recently been painted as well. ☀️ Really nice in a morning to wake up with the sun coming up through your window. I have one of those IKEA box storage units in there and that fits nicely if you wanted more storage. (Note: I’ve moved the furniture around since this picture, I’ve moved the bed next to the window which I think gives you more space.)

Flat:
It’s a victorian house that’s been split into 2 flats, we’re the upper of the two. There’s a decently sized bathroom with a shower/bath combo 🛁🚿. The kitchen has everything you need and even comes with loads of plates and other bits and bobs. The lounge is nice and homely with a big sofa and then 2 armchairs 🛋️. We have a tiny terrace which is good for summer evenings.

Flatmates:
You’ll be living with 1 female and 1 male that both met on Spareroom, same as me. We all get along nicely, help clean and will watch tele together in an evening, but very much have our own lives too. We split household items such as toilet roll and dishwasher tablets.

Local area:
It’s a really lovely place to live. The trains are super fast into Vauxhall/Waterloo. There’s some nice more independent places to eat in Earlsfield, or you’ve got the convenience of Southside shopping centre just up the road, there’s a cinema, supermarkets, gyms and shops. You can walk to the river in no time or Clapham/Wandsworth commons in about half an hour.

Transport:
🚂 10 mins walk from Earlsfield station.
🚂 15 mins walk from Wandsworth Town.
🚌 Really frequent buses to Tooting (Northern line), Clapham and Victoria.
🚶 30 mins walk from Clapham, or buses that take 15 mins.
🚗 You can park your car with a permit on the road outside, it’s approx £180 a year.

Bills: Come to about £100 ish a month (more in winter obvs).
