Looking for a flatmate in a modern East Village flatshare! I am moving to the US so looking for someone to take over my existing lease in a flatshare. You will be living with two housemates (Kisha & Max) who are both respectful and tidy.
Sudiksha (Kisha for short :)): 25 y. o. professional working in business consulting. I moved to London when I was 14. Outside of work I enjoy swimming, hiking (mostly socially so I can complain the pain away), cooking and anything creative. I am a tidy person and a bit of an ambivert so like to balance having my own space as well as hanging out.
Max: 29 y. o. professional with background in healthcare. I like leading a healthy lifestyle (gym, running, volleyball). I work rather long hours so home is a place for me to relax, and I would like the potential flatmates to be the same (ie not living in a party flat). I am quite chilled out during weekends and happy to hang out.
The room is a good size with a double bed and wardrobe. I can also leave a chest of drawers, desk and bookshelf if wanted. You will be sharing a bathroom with Kisha. There is a shared open plan living room and kitchen area with a decent size balcony. We usually get a cleaner in every fortnight. Bills are all shared and come to roughly £120 - 150pm.
The flat:
Located in New Garden Quarter - a living space 10 mins walk from Stratford & Stratford International with great transport links (Elizabeth line, DLR, Overground). You can get to King's X in 7 minutes! Safe area with a concierge and free gym. Built for the 2012 Olympics, the flat is spacious and modern , with premium appliances and high quality furnishing. The shared space is a large, open plan kitchen/dining/living room, furnished with sofas, dining table, washer/dryer, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, and an array of kitchen appliances. We have a really large hallway and the living room plan is lovely with access to a balcony. Several supermarkets and shops are all within a short walking distance (including Westfields).
W're pretty chill people and are always up for anything fun! We're looking for someone respectful, tidy and with good energy. Our main hobbies include traveling, hiking and cooking or just hanging out (game nights/ puzzles/ making gingerbread cookies, etc)
If you'd like to arrange a viewing drop a message and share a bit about yourself. We look forward to hearing from you!
