Huge bright double in friendly flat!

Hi folks,

My lovely room in a fantastic flat in Streatham will be available from 1st June. It’s a large, bright space that faces out the back of the building towards a garden, so it’s nice and peaceful. The flat itself is situated on a quiet street right next to Streatham High Road, so you get a peaceful living environment but with all of the connectivity and amenities!

You would be sharing with my friend Eleri and their cat Hieronypws (I’ll let them introduce themselves below). This flat has very much been a home, so they’re ideally looking to share with a queer/queer-friendly person who’s interested in a friendly and sociable living environment.

The room would be mostly unfurnished, with just the two bedside tables staying, but I may make small chest of draws with mirror available for purchase depending on space at my new flat.

The flat is a big two-bed just off Streatham High Road (Gracefield Gardens). It is 6 mins walk from Streatham Hill station and 10 mins walk from Streatham Station. It is a 15 minute bus to Brixton or Tooting Bec station (or 30 min walk to the latter). There’s a Lidl 3 mins walk from the flat, loads of excellent charity shops nearby, and nice places to eat. There’s a lovely, queer friendly pub by Streatham station.

We have a huge living room, dining room/study, kitchen and shower room. Everything is decorated in a mid-century style with lots of queer art. It’s a lovely place to host friends for dinner/staying over. The windows were recently changed (April 2023) and the landlord is good with repairs.

Your room would be the primary bedroom (and is *massive*). The rent is currently £950pcm + bills but is going up to £1000 in September. We have the flat guaranteed until September 2025.”
