Please read carefully to make sure this is appropriate for you. We have a stylish room, a spacious double, to rent in a large yellow brick Victorian House in Streatham Hill. You will be sharing more as a lodger than a tenant with live-in landlords. The other rooms have been let to professionals and mutual consideration is very important.
This will suit a serious person who has to work in London for some time, preferably six months or more, but does not want to stay in a hotel or have the palava of renting somewhere and dealing with all the bills. Or a person new to London who wishes to have a comfortable place to start out before they find their own group of friends. In other words this is about practicality, not an opportunity to party or enliven your social life.
All bills TV and internet are included, we can provide bed linen.
This room is large, and freshly painted, with generous built-in wardrobes, a desk space and TV.. The bathroom is for your use only, not shared, not en suite however. You will share a kitchen upstairs with the other occupants, but there is plenty of fridge/freezer space and have access to our garden in summer (No living room for the moment sorry. Work in progress )
Streatham Hill has excellent bus routes to central, west, and east London via Brixton (Victoria Line) & Clapham Common (Northern Line). Streatham Hill overground takes you to Victoria. A short walk to Tulse Hill overground takes you to the city
We are two old codgers, live-in landlords, still working from home seven days a week. One male, (Italian, not chilled!) and one Female (English, ironic)
