My housemate is moving out so I’m looking for someone to take over her lovely double room in this gorgeous flat in Tooting Bec!
CONTRACT:
The tenancy is up for renewal, we will sign for 1 year, then generally after the year is up, we just sign another 1 year contract. It’s all direct through the Landlady, and she is very friendly, helpful and lives close by which is super handy!
CURRENT FLATMATE:
You would be living with me, I’m Nat a bit about me…I’m in my early 30s, I work in Marketing and Events in media. I’m friendly, chilled and have a lovely cat called Winston 🐱
A few of my fave things are music, football, eating out, generally enjoying London, and travelling.
WHO I’M LOOKING FOR:
I’m looking for a female, 28-35 years old who is clean, tidy and respectful, doesn’t smoke, and keeps the nice homey vibe that the flat currently has. Ideally someone who has their own thing going on with friends and social life but who is also up for catching up about the day over dinner or watching a TV show together sometimes - you get the idea!
LOCATION:
The flat is a 1-minute walk from Tooting Bec Underground station on the Northern Line and is on a quiet residential road. It’s a 5-minute walk from Tooting Common and a 10-minute walk from Balham. You can get into central London in 30 minutes from the flat.
Plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops in the area, it’s 1-minute walk away from a Sainsburys and 5-minute walk away from Tesco. The area is very safe too.
THE FLAT:
The flat has 2 double bedrooms, a small office space.
The living room has doors out onto private courtyard.
The kitchen has a door out to the small garden, which is shared with the flat upstairs.
There is a main bathroom with bath, shower and toilet and a small second toilet where the washing machine is. The flat is very quiet too which is a bonus!
THE ROOM:
The room is a big double bedroom with a large window so lots of natural light and looks out onto the little courtyard.
*PLEASE READ* The room is unfurnished, but does come with a massive double wardrobe and shelves.
COSTS:
£810 per month for rent
£193 per month for bills (water, electric/gas, council tax, Sky, TV licence)
£1000 deposit that the Landlady puts into a secure Tenancy Deposit Scheme.
(It won’t let me add in the deposit amount in the detail section of the ad so ignore where it says £0! It’s £1000)
Move in date would be 29th June.
