Located in the 1625 wing of farmhouse, this large oak beamed room is private and accessed across a galleried landing.

King Sized Bed, with all bed linen and towels provided, recently fitted carpets, Arighi Bianchi bedroom furniture, 40” TV with Freeview, table and chairs, ideal as workstation.

Large Ensuite Bathroom (bath), currently undergoing redecoration, with additional Ground Floor Separate Shower Room.

Tea/Coffee facilities in room, with Fridge/Wine Chiller on galleried landing.

Farmhouse has well-equipped large country kitchen/diner, comprising 4 oven Everhot Range with induction hob, oven/grill/microwave, dishwasher, integrated fridge, large dining table (seats 8) and log burner. Separate large utility room with further fridge, freezers, washing machine and tumble drier. There is another washing machine in our boot room too.

Large, separate lounge on the ground floor, just for our guests to relax in, with comfy new sofas and direct access to large gardens and patio area. Roland Piano.

Please note that whilst not in an isolated location, the nearest bus service is in the village. You will need transport here.

There are two acres of gardens around the house, with a further 8 acres of fields and fully fenced paddocks for you to enjoy. Vegetable plots and greenhouse. Gardening help always appreciated!

Village with three nice pubs and shops, under a mile down lane. Local market towns of Leek or Cheadle, about 5 miles. Ashbourne, 13 miles and Buxton, 17 miles.

Great cycling on designated trails locally and within the Peak Park, great walks from our front door (free cycle storage available). Local steam railway and canal walks in Churnet Valley. Edge of Peak District National Park. Alton Towers 20 minutes. JCB 20 minutes.

Stunning countryside location, teeming with wildlife and birds, in Area of Special Scientific Interest, adjoining RSPB woodland., a nature-lover’s paradise.
