Modern double room in Selhurst/ West Croydon

Modern double bedroom available from early June for a single occupant with excellent transport links to London.

The flat is located within 10 minutes walk to Selhurst and West Croydon Station or a short bus ride to East Croydon and Norwood Junction Stations; train journeys to Victoria and London Bridge Station takes around 30 minutes from Selhurst Station. Overground to East London is available from West Croydon and Norwood Junction and trains to Gatwick, Brighton and Cambridge from East Corydon Station.

The flat is in a brand new, modern and spacious development. We are on the ground floor with a big private terrace, all of the flat’s windows face the internal garden so it is very quiet and peaceful.

You will be sharing the flat with me, female, 34 y/o and my partner, male, 38y/o. We work full-time, I am an architect doing standard office hours and my partner is a chef in London - he works long hours weekly. He is never home so you will be spending most of the time with me. Lucky you! :P We also have a sweet kitten that loves cuddles and attention.

We are friendly and laid back people, and always up for a chat or share a meal. We are clean and tidy so we looking for someone that is to and with a good sense of sharing communal spaces. This is not a party house, we are busy professionals and are looking for someone on the same wavelength that is respectfully and willing to share the chores, and wants to have a peaceful and quiet place to call home.

The room comes furnished with a double bed, desk, bedside table and a large built-in wardrobe.

You will have the bathroom mostly for yourself as we mainly use our en-suit. However, we will eventually use the bathroom as is the only bath in the property. Please be bear this in mind.

Rent is £750 + bills (council tax, water, broadband, electricity and gas divided by 3 - around £150 each). Deposit is £850.

This room is not suitable for smokers, that includes vaping. Sorry!
