Gorgeous Room for Rent in Friendly House Share

We have a room to rent in our lovely 5 bed house share in Kentish Town. Literally a 5 minute walk (that’s a lie – it’s 7 minutes) from Camden Town and all it has to offer. We are, however, about 30 seconds away from Kentish Town West Overground and that is no exaggeration. Kentish Town tube station and Overground are about a 5-10 minute walk.

The house itself is lovely and has to be seen to be believed – it is huge! Which is rare for London. Housemates also have to be seen to be believed. They are awesome! Which is rare for London. Our current housemate is moving out on August 16 and we need to find a replacement. Her room is an outrageously large double. I've been in studio flats that are smaller.

The house is 4. 5 floors in total. There are 3 bathrooms in the house – 2 on the first floor (one with shower and bath, one with stand up shower unit only), an en suite on the fourth floor (used exclusively by the person in that room) and a downstairs loo for guests and those that are too lazy to make it to the first floor. We have a large kitchen – all of us can fit in there comfortably, although none of us know what to do once we are in there – make tea usually. There is a lounge with a MASSIVE telly. We stole it from an Odeon. We also have a spare room which can be used for dining and/or guests when they come to visit.

Other endearing qualities about the house (did I mention the awesome and intimidatingly attractive housemates?) include the backyard with decking and space for bike storage and the outdoor deck on the third floor. Bills are £108 a month and include council tax, water, electricity, broadband, Sky and a weekly cleaner as well as communal items such as cleaning products, kitchen roll, toilet roll etc. The room comes unfurnished but the current housemate will be selling some items. You will need a bed though. Housemates are all professionals in our late twenties who get on really well. We hang out together in the evenings but everyone has their own space and friends as well so it is not super intense. Fear not, new amigo!

We really don't have a preference for male or female - it is totally dependent on the person. As long as you are house-trained, fairly tidy/clean and NOT crazy - you will be welcome at POW POW.
