Double room in lovely Battersea flat

I have a room to rent in a lovely flat in a great location in Battersea. The flat was completely renovated from scratch a few years ago, and has a brand new kitchen and bathroom, new plumbing and gch as well as wooden flooring throughout, some with underfloor heating. It has all been decorated to a high standard in neutral colours, with great lighting and the best shower in London! High standard throughout.

The room is a good sized double, with a really big built in wardrobe. It is east facing and gets lovely sun in the mornings. It is furnished with a double bed, and has space for a desk/shelves and/or a comfy chair, or whatever else you want to add. Note the desk in the picture is not included.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, gas hob/fan oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer etc. It is the shared space in the flat, and also has a TV/DVD. The bathroom has a full size bath and great shower, as well as a good amount of space for all the little essentials without looking messy. There is WIFI and your own phone too (shared line).

The location is very central, 2 minutes walk from Battersea Park, a really beautiful park by the river Thames. We are within 20-25 min walking distance from Sloane Square and the Kings Road (great for shopping), and also from Clapham and the Northcote Road with lots of great shops and nightlife. We have several great pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk from here too. We are less than 5 minutes walk from Battersea Park Road station (for Victoria) and Queenstown Road station (for Waterloo), and we have lots of buses direct to South Kensington, Clapham, Wandsworth, Sloane Square, Oxford Circus, Victoria, Vauxhall, Liverpool Street etc etc (look up bus numbers 44, 137, 344, 452, 319, 345, 156, maybe more too but those are the ones I can remember right now)

The flat is in Austin Road, Battersea. We are in a purpose built block of flats (built in the early 60's so not the prettiest from the outside but the inside really makes up for it!).

You will be sharing with one female (Finnish, works in accounts) plus me, the 'landlady', who is a Norwegian fashion designer/bespoke tailor running my own business and using a room in the flat as my studio. We are both in our late thirties, and like a clean and tidy flat but are not obsessive! We both have our separate lives and friends, but also enjoy sharing a glass of wine or two and watching a good dvd, or popping out to one of the local pubs or restaurants in the area. The park is also a great hang-out in the summer, and good for running, and is right on our doorstep. We are also just a couple of minutes away from the Latchmere Leisure centre with a gym and swimming pool.

The rent is £620 pcm, including all bills, internet and phone line rental (you only pay for your calls). The minimum contract is 6 months, and the deposit is one months rent.

There is also an additional charge of £20 every 6 weeks for our lovely cleaner who comes every two weeks.
