Stunning exceptionally large double bedrooms with en suite available for rent in a beautiful Victorian detached property in the heart of Bexleyheath. The property has undergone an extensive 5 year refurbishment programme so has brand new roof, wiring, plumbing and every room has been stripped back to brickwork, re-plastered, decorated and carpeted . All en-suites are brand new, with floor to ceiling tiling, luxurious shower cubicles with power showers. All showers are mains fed and independently heated so there are no issues of low water pressure or hot water running out.

As landlords, we live on site in a self-contained apartment in the basement. We are therefore on site to deal with any issues. We are both professionals in our 40s with two young daughters and a dog – the dog is well behaved and quiet and does not bark except at intruders. We have put a lot of money, time, effort and hard work in to restoring this beautiful building to its former glory and expect our tenants to treat the house with respect and courtesy. We are quiet people who work long hours in central London and so go to bed at a sensible time. We do not want loud, raucous tenants who stay up all night partying. The key for us is to find likeminded, quiet, hardworking professionals that are looking for excellent quality accommodation in a beautiful property in a good area.

The property is located in a very nice, quiet road just a two minute walk from the town centre. The neighbourhood is well to do with low crime rate and active neighbourhood watch scheme.

The property benefits from a 4 car drive and parking bays are allocated to each room, on a first come, first served basis. However, due to its excellent location, it is not necessary to have a vehicle/bicycle. The property is a 3 minute walk from the Broadway Shopping Centre with all its shops, bars and restaurants. There is a 24 hour ASDA superstore 6 minute walk away and Sainsbury’s and Iceland 4 minutes away. We are only a couple of minutes’ walk from several bus stops.

Crook Log leisure centre is 5 minute drive away, 15 minute walk. Both Anytime Fitness and The Gym are 2 minutes walk away, Better Gym is only a 10 minute walk away.

Both Bexleyheath and Bexley railway stations are less than a 1 mile away so either a 4/5 minute drive or 15 minute walk. From both stations you can get services in to London Bridge (27 minutes), Cannon Street (33 minutes), London Waterloo East (31 minutes), London Charing Cross (35 minutes) or London Victoria (39 minutes). Trains run every 10 minutes in to London throughout the day and more frequently during rush hour.

The property benefits from a shared kitchen with a gas range cooker and two electric ovens, an American style fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, kettle, toaster etc.

The living room benefits from a comfortable leather sofa, arm chairs, beautiful open fireplace, large dining table and flat screen TV with cable. The property benefits from high speed WiFi throughout.

Included in the rent is the council tax, water, electricity, gas, WiFi and weekly cleaning of the common parts. The cleaning includes a deep clean of the kitchen plus a thorough dust and hoover of the living room, hallway and stairs. The cleaning is carried out by a professional, reputable cleaning company whose operatives are fully vetted and checked. If you require your own room and en suite bathroom to be cleaned, this can be done for an additional £15 per week (for an hour's worth of cleaning)

The room is double in size but is to be let on a single occupancy basis and has a very large en-suite bathroom. However, the room is sifficinetly spaceous for a couple, the cost of the room for double occupancy would be £850 per month.

The property is 4 storeys and has 8 double en-suite bedrooms. We live in the basement flat with our two young daughters. I also run a Pilates studio from a room on the ground floor and we also have an osteopath that runs her clinic from the studio. Both practices are quiet and non-intrusive and would not cause any disturbance to the residents.

We require one calendar month's deposit and one calendar month of rent in advance. There is also a £25 non-refundable credit check fee and £35 refundable key deposit. Full references, credit check, employment check etc will be carried out.

We take our responsibility as landlords seriously and are members of the NLA (National Landlords Association) and our property complies with all relevant fire safety best practice guidelines.
