Barbican: double room with own bathroom

Our names are Josh and Ellie and we are looking for someone to share our flat with. We both work in the City and enjoy socialising, eating out, watching films, keeping fit and travelling. We’d love to find someone who has similar interests and wouldn't mind relaxing over the occasional drink or two. Very easily done with the number of bars and pubs in the area!

So a little bit about the room.. it is in a building with a porter in Barbican, about a 2 minute walk from Barbican Tube and 5 minutes from Moorgate. The flat is on the 2nd floor (there is a lift for the lazy days) and you will have use of your own recently refurbished bathroom. The living area is very large with dual aspects so it is a nice and light space. In it we have a flat screen TV, two 2 seat couches, coffee and dining tables. Kitchen with a washer/dryer and dishwasher, as well as all the other essentials- oven, stove-top, fridge, microwave, kettle. The room comes furnished with a double bed, built in robe, and bedside table, so you won’t need to bring any additional items (though you are most welcome to if you choose!)

We currently have a cleaner who comes once a week. Bills are approximately £110 per month per person, which includes, Sky, unlimited internet, water, gas, electricity, council tax and the cleaner.



We are looking for a professional male or female. We really aren't fussy as long as you like to keep things clean and tidy. We generally organise our own meals so don’t have any kind of household cooking arrangement- we tend to eat out quite frequently! It is a fantastic, large, centrally located flat- perfect for City workers who don’t enjoy commuting!
