We are centrally located, extremely convenient to St Pancras King's Cross Underground station (also the Eurostar terminus, of course) & on the very edge of Bloomsbury, a few minutes on foot from Russell Square & roughly as close to Russell Square as to the St Pancras Tube stop.

The area is lively but extremely safe -- police are right across the street -- and most importantly, extraordinarily convenient: the City, London School of Economics, UCL, SOAS, British Library, British Museum are all short walks away. There are squares, cafés, bicycle stands, shopping, cinemas, taxis, buses, parks and lovely vistas all around us, including the Regent's Channel & Regent's Park areas that are amongst the most beautiful, serene & at the same time authentically London places that exist in this magical city. 

The Dickens Museum is another short walk from our house; Clint Eastwood filmed right in our neighbourhood when he made "The Hereafter" just -3 years ago. This is Dickens's 00th anniversary, of course -- the perfect time to see where he lived and strolled daily!

We are also a pleasant 30-minute walk from Covent Garden itself, and just a bit more walking gets one into Leicester Square & Trafalgar Square, with all their extraordinary cultural delights! We often walk (40-45 minutes) to Green Park, Buckingham Palace & Piccadilly. 

We occupy a flat just above an excellent Thai bistro; on the corner, steps away from us, the same owner has one of London's best authentic Japanese restaurants, Shibuya.

In so many ways, our flat -- one block away from the Pentonville Road thoroughfare that will be one of the big official arteries for Olympics traffic (and thus the perfect place to people-watch) -- is perfectly situated for to achieve maximum enjoyment for the London 2012 Olympics. 

We have a spacious bedroom available, with a high ceilings & much light, and a huge shared kitchen space with a long formal dining table. The bedroom has a double bed. The bathroom with a large antique bathtub + shower would be shared. There is a brand-new Bosch washer-dryer and of course Wi-Fi (broadband wireless from Virgin Media -- the premium service). There is a full-size refrigerator and a six-hob professional gourmet cooking gas range, with two ovens, good enough to serve up proper formal dinners for anyone with a passion for fine cooking.
