Sunny double in beautiful SW2 mansion block

I am looking for someone to join me temporarily in my lovely South London flat. My spare room is a big double with a dark wood floor. It's east-facing, so is light-filled throughout the day. It's furnished with a double bed and new mattress, and a big wardrobe. It's honestly bloody lovely. The room is available from December, so I'll be holding viewings in the second half of November.

Crucially, the flat is on the market - I am hoping to sell it in the next few months. This means a few things:

- Once it's sold, we'll have 2 - 3 months to move out
- I always get 24 hours notice ahead of viewings, but I'm mostly keeping the flat viewing-ready if I can, and will need you to keep your pants in the washing basket

The flat itself is in an art deco mansion block, with loads of useful shops nearby, including a dead nice coffee shop and my favourite restaurant in south London. We're a few minutes walk from Streatham Hill station, which connects to Victoria and London Bridge via Clapham Junction. I commute via Brixton in the mornings, which is about a 10-12 minute bus ride in rush hour. We're a short walk from Tooting Commons and Brockwell Park, so ideal if you like running or exercise, which I aim to do 2-3 times per year.

We have access to a huge private terrace overlooking the high street and a beautiful communal rose garden. I’ve got an unused designated parking space in the private parking out back if you have a car or horse.

The kitchen has all the good stuff: washing machine, dishwasher, big fridge full of condiments I'll never finish, oven, hob, microwave... I absolutely cannot cook, so it will be quite novel to have them used.

The bathroom is clean and airy, with a bath, shower, and separate loo.

Bills are an additional £100 a month, including broadband.

I'm a busy working person who likes to eat and drink, and sing in the bath. Ideally, you will have a Michelin star and be really into cleaning, but I'd settle for nice, interesting, and respectful. It's a big flat so feels private enough when you come home from work knackered and want to watch Netflix and binge eat Doritos in bed, but it would be sweet to share with someone I like a good yarn with over a bottle of wine at the weekends.
