Great value flat in central Brixton.

I am (sadly) moving out of my room in our Brixton flat and my flatmates and I are looking for the perfect replacement.

The flat is a 5 minute walk from both tube and rail stations. For buses, the P4, 345, 35 and 45 all go from outside the flat so it has excellent connections. Supermarkets, 24 hour shops, bars and Brixton Academy are all within a 5 minute walk. Also, Brixton market and Village, with all of it's restaurants and boutique shops, is only a 3 minute walk from the flat.

The flat is in a 2 level block, it has 2 storeys inside (3 beds, 1 bath, 1 toilet, kitchen, living room and really good sized balcony). The whole flat has recently been decorated and had new heating system throughout. If you do have a car, there is parking around. Outside the front of the building there are parking bays which charge Monday-Friday, 8. 30-5. 30pm so I have always parked there overnight with no problems. There is free parking at weekends.

Gas and heating bills are included, additional bills come to around £80 a month.

We deal with a property agent rather than directly with the landlord and they have always been really reliable and responsive to small issues we have had. For example, we recently asked for the downstairs to be completely re carpeted due to wear and tear on the current one, they have arranged for this to be completed in the next few weeks.

The current flatmates are Rosie, 28 and Niina, 31.

Rosie is originally from the US. She is currently working in property management but her passion lies in charities, mainly those for women and children.

Niina is Finnish and is the longest standing member of the house having lived here for 5 years. She works in HR in London.

Over the years we have lived here we have grown to be like family. We would like to welcome someone in to this so we are looking for someone who will spend some social times together rather than sitting away in their room all the time.

The room that is available is a small double with a fitted wardrobe. It currently has a day bed in it which the new flatmate is welcome to use if they prefer to have more floor space in the room. However, the property agent will replace this with a double bed should you want one. They should be able to do this fairly soon if that's what you choose.

The room is listed from 9/11/14 at the latest. However, this could be flexible if you needed to move in a few days early.
