This lovely double room, overlooking gardens, is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood, close to many amenities and good transport links.

The room has its own tv, freeview box and sink, as well as a comfy double bed, and plenty of storage.

The shared bathroom is right next to the bedroom, with a good shower as well as bath. The communal rooms include a massive kitchen with all the mod cons you'd expect to make life easier; a comfortable living room; and a lovely garden.

There's superfast broadband and Netflix in the house.

The house is in zone 2, with the nearest tube station being Elephant and Castle (a 10 minute bus ride away). There are many bus routes very close by that go all over London, and the London overground stations at both Denmark Hill and Peckham Rye are also close. I cycle everywhere, and can be in Covent Garden in 20 minutes, South Bank in 15, and Oxford Circus in 30.

There are excellent amenities in both Peckham and Camberwell - bars, restaurants, quirky cafes, deli's, clubs and leisure centres. Green space is easily accessible, with the small but lovely Brunswick Park just a stone's throw away, and the massive recently regenerated Burgess Park 5 minutes walk away, where you can run, play tennis or basketball, hang out by the lake, go to the cafe or just watch the plethora of activities taking place. There is a vibrant Latin American festival in the park each summer.

I live in the house with my son, and Archie, the rather elderly resident cat! We are all very easy going, and I'd like to think easy to live with.

We're happy to spend as much or as little time with you as you want ... we understand the importance of having your own space and seclusion, but would equally welcome the opportunity to spend time with you over dinner, a glass of wine, or watching a film.
