A lovely double room in a bright and cosy two bedroom flat, which you will share with one other. The room comes with a double bed (with storage), a built-in wardrobe and a small chest of drawers; there is also additional storage space in the hallway. The flat itself is on the third floor of a safe & modern, purpose built block, with a lift, and features two bedrooms, bathroom with shower and bath, a large open-plan kitchen and living room, and all mod cons (central heating & hot water, broadband internet, cable TV, landline, washing machine and dishwasher).

Just off Battersea Park Road and Battersea High Street, the flat is ideally located for transport and shops, with buses to central London practically on your doorstep, and Clapham Junction less than a 10 minute walk away. It's also 5 minutes to the river, 15 to Battersea Park, and a 25 minute stroll over Battersea Bridge to the Kings Road and Chelsea, while a 15 minute walk in the opposite direction will bring you to Northcote Road, the local hotspot for shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Finally, there is a Sainsbury's Local and a Tesco Metro within two minutes' from the flat.

Bills are currently just under £100 a month (a little less in the summer and autumn), and include council tax, electricity, heating, line rental, internet and TV. We receive quarterly water bills, usually up to £30 in total. The flat is managed by a property company, conveniently located in the very same building, so things tend to get taken care of quite swiftly if, e. g. any of the appliances go wrong. You will need to sign a standard 12 month contract, but you're free to leave at anytime, just by finding another tenant to take the room.
