Large Furnished Double Room in Great Houseshare

A fully furnished and spacious double bedroom is available in our great houseshare in the Clapham Junction area near Battersea Park from the 29th of December 2015, although the actual move-in date is fairly flexible.

-- THE HOUSE -- In total, there are 4 bedrooms split across 3 floors in the house. 3 of the bedrooms are rented out allowing the spare room for occasional guests to stay over. Both the kitchen and living/dining room are large and fully equipped. There is also a backyard with a barbecue for those nice summer days.

-- THE ROOM -- The room is very spacious and located on the 2nd floor. It comes with a double bed, 2 large wardrobes, a desk and a storage trunk.

-- LOCATION -- The house is perfectly located: just off Battersea Park Road, less than 1 min walking to Bullen St. bus stop (for direct buses to London Victoria, Vauxhall and Liverpool Street) and 10 mins walking/2 mins by bus to Clapham Junction station. The house is located in a very quiet street. Tesco, Sainsbury's, Battersea Park and a Nuffield Health gym are all within 5 mins walking distance.

-- THE FLATMATES -- You would be sharing with 2 young professionals, Braedan (29) and Kavita (31). Braedan is Australian and is employed as a civil engineer. Kavita is English and works for a charity in the international development sector. We are pretty laid-back and like to spend time with a beer at night or go out to pubs/clubs. During the week we both have early starts and rather long days at work, so we like to keep it chilled at night. Weekends of course are a different story.

-- YOU -- We are looking for another professional, aged 25 to 35, who is clean, tidy, sociable and easy going.

-- RENT AND BILLS -- Total rent for the house is shared in a transparent and fair manner as a function of the size of the room. Rent for this room is £742.07 per month. Bills including broadband internet, gas, electricity and water come on top of rent (approx. £50 per month). Council tax is £33 per month. We also have a cleaner who comes every two weeks.
