Lovely double room available with views onto private garden. We are looking for one new short-term flatmate to share our home with us. The landlords are lovely, helpful and always quick to respond. No agency involved.

About the flat:
Situated within a beautiful 1930s luxury Art Deco mansion block, the flat faces on to a private garden, so all rooms (three bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom) are bright and blissfully quiet. We have a bright, spacious living room with a couch, dining table & chairs, TV and book shelf. If you want to work from home, you can sit comfortably at the dining table. The kitchen has gas cooking/oven, microwave and a washing machine. The bathroom is spacious and the shower has hot water & good water pressure.

About the room:
This double room faces the quiet garden and comes furnished with double bed, bed side table and wardrobe. Rent is £550 per month (including heating and hot water), bills are £80 (for council tax, electricity, gas, tv license, all shared household stuff), so it makes £630 per month in total. Deposit is £650. The room is available from now.

About the area:
We live in a lovely part of Haringey/Islington, between Archway and Highgate. It's really well connected and easy to reach most corners of London. It's a 7 minute walk to Archway station (zone 2, Northern line) and 12 mins to Upper Holloway for the overground. There are great bus connections, the W5 stops right in front of the flat, and in under 5 minutes you've got the 43, 134, 143, 210, 263, 271, N20 and many more. There are lovely shops and cafes in Crouch End and Highgate Village, just a short walk (or bus ride) away.

We, Marija (29, retail) and Stef (37, marketing) are open, friendly and easy going. We all have a chat and a giggle and will watch trashy telly on a night in, the only real requirement is that you are tidy and can look after yourself.
