Good access to Central London

Decent room, flat has a kitchen with a sofa, 2 beds and I live in one of them. Not flashy or too spacious but it's cheap and comfortable and the location is brilliant - I cycle into the square mile in 15 minutes every morning, close to supermarkets and shops, 10-15 minutes walk to Angel which is a nice place to relax at weekends, and it's basically easy to tube/cycle to anywhere in central London.

I was working in programming for a bank in the city but am currently reskilling to do more startup-ish stuff. I'm a physics graduate from ICL. I've now had five different flatmates- a uni friend who lived here for 6 months my girlfriend for 11 months and three people from this site.

I'm quite relaxed to live with - tidy but not a neat freak. I work long hours and often weekends so the flat will seem quite empty which might be a good thing for you. Nonetheless I'd love to swap meals once or twice a week, I'm an ok cook.

There is a utilities cost, I don't know precisely but gas is paid, water is significant at £35 pcm and electricity maybe half of that. Also note council tax is £65 each a month(unless you're a student), so all in ends up around £640 per month.

I've enjoyed living here for three years and lived with five people in that time, never had a serious problem with anything. The landlord is pretty relaxed, he's never bothered me but has replaced the fridge when I asked. The major downside to the flat is that the bathroom is attached to the kitchen and tiny, but with only two people here and me not around much it's never been much of a problem, but maybe not one for a girly girl (or boy).
