Small double bedroom available in a Victorian first-floor, three-people flat in Kilburn, on a quiet street 2 minutes from the tube and the shops/pubs of Kilburn High Road. AVAILABLE JULY 1st.

The room comes fully furnished with a queen size bed, desk and chair, chest of drawers, wardrobe, wall mirror, and three long fitted shelves. The flat has a small shared kitchen and bathroom and a large, bright living room with bow windows and floorboards, which overlooks a leafy residential street. For film lovers, there’s a TV with DVD player and plenty of DVDs (and Sky!). We also share a washing machine.

Flatmates. You would be sharing with two friendly professionals (male and female) in their late twenties, working in theatre and international development. The room would suit a professional with similar interests (travel, film, theatre…), who’s friendly and happy to do their bit to keep the house tidy and clean!
Because it's a home, not just a random flatshare, we're looking for someone with fluent english who is easy to get along with. We don't hang out all the time but when we're all in it's very relaxed and easy. Location and transport. Kilburn station (on the Jubilee Line) is two minutes away – it takes you to central London in 15 minutes. Brondesbury station (London Overground) is also close. The lively Kilburn High Road is just around the corner, with a Sainsbury’s supermarket, local food shops, old pubs and restaurants – all within a 5/10 minute walk. There is also a cinema and theatre, the Tricycle, which does preferential rates for local residents. Queen’s Park and West Hampstead (with cafes, restaurants, green space, farmers’ markets…) are both a 15-minute walk away.

For cyclists, there’s the option to park a bike securely behind a locked gate. Smokers welcome, though the flat itself is non-smoking!

The rent is £470pcm, with bills and council tax coming up to around £80 a month.
