Walking distance (12mins.) to the railway station (to Guildford, Leatherhead, Epsom, Waterloo, etc.) and to the shops. 10 minutes by car to M25, 30 minutes to Heathrow and 40 minutes to Gatwick. Open countryside is within 400 yards and Polesden Lacey, a popular National Trust house in the heart of the North Downs is just a short 5 minute drive away.
Bookham itself is an attractive village on the edge of the North Downs and has a library, banks, medical and dental practices and a range of small shops. Major supermarkets are in Leatherhead, some 10 minutes by car. Guildford, Surrey's major town is 20 minutes by car or 15 minutes by train
The room comes with a double bed, built in wardrobe and a desk, etc. The house has fast wireless broadband.
A new kitchen and breakfast room have recently been installed. Laundry facilities are available in a separate utility room. Outside, there is a large south west facing garden with a patio area.
The accommodation is ideal for a professional person who will appreciate the peace and tranquility that the accommodation provides.
Apart from tenants (maximum 2), the only other person permanently living at the house is myself.
