Your room is elegant, comfortable and quiet with lots of cupboard space, a chest of drawers, polished oak table and desk chair, Corbusier lounger, TV and broadband, original art and Afghan carpet. Your bathroom is large, with a proper bath. You will be on the ground floor with secure gated entrance to this small, modern block of flats where the communal areas are clean and tidy and the neighbours friendly.
Our flat is one minute from Borough Tube, eight from London Bridge and just across the river from St Paul's and the City. Numerous buses stop at Borough and there are hire bikes and scooters available by the station.
Tate Modern, Borough Market, the Globe Theatre, Guy's Hospital, Bermondsey St and the Shard are all minutes away, as are Sainsbury, Tesco and Marks and Spencer.
The flat is huge, full of books and pictures, with a 44 ft long main room, designer kitchen, generous solid oak dining table and lounge area with amazing Bose sound system.
I should emphasise that I am looking for a lodger rather than a flatmate, but I am away a great deal, typically Thursday to Monday each week, longer in the holidays, and I would want you to use the entire ground floor as your own when I'm not here.
I (and my husband who is very occasionally here) am friendly and quiet at home, but sociable and out a lot. I am looking for someone reliable and trustworthy.
Your rent includes all bills, broadband, cleaning, linen, towels and laundering thereof.
