Double bedroom available monday-friday only, in a 2 bedroom apartment in a modern new build apartment block on Southwark Bridge Road. You would only be sharing with one other person, and I'm very easygoing and laidback.
The room has a lot of storage space, and has a new mattress. There is a shared living/dining area and shared bathroom.
Broadband included in the rent. Large fridge freezer and washer/dryer too. There is a good sized balcony for the flat.
Excellent transport links for the City, West End and most of London:
- The 344 24-hour bus goes from right outside and gets to Liverpool Street Station in about 10-15mins, or Vauxhall/Clapham Junction in the other direction.
- Southwark/Borough/Elephant and Castle stations are all 4-5 mins walk away
- London Bridge/Waterloo stations about 10 mins walk away.
Tate Modern is 5-10 mins walk.
- There is a co-op and postoffice on the ground floor of the building, but also two Tesco, a Sainsburys and M&S food less than 5 mins walk away so very convenient.
- Just a few minutes walk from Borough High STreet and all the local restaurants and bars. Some very good pubs nearby, but remains a quiet and safe area.
- There are 3 Boris Bike stations less than 2/3 mins walk from the flat, but if you have your own bike there is secure parking downstairs for it.
- A 24 hour taxi station is just a few mins walk away so always easy to get a cab, or its less than £10 to get into West End/the City with an Uber or Black Cab.
- Within 5-10 mins walk there is a Gordon Ramsay Restaurant, Mark Hix place and many different food outlets, but also some fantastic takeaways for those who would rather stay in.
It's a fantastic area, and great flat.
