Penthouse, amazing views, 3 bed 3 bath, huge
My two flatmates are moving out at the end of our lease on 14 August, but I am keen to stay on and so am looking for two people who would like to move into their rooms.
The apartment is split over 2 floors - level 19 and 20, with amazing views of the city and Canary Wharf. Both rooms on offer are big, and both have their own bathroom. The £1,400 room is on level 20 with an ensuite bathroom. (This room is bigger than it looks from the picture - there is currently a large desk at the end of the bed.) The £1,300 room is on level 19 and has a bathroom just outside the bedroom which is for exclusive use. The room on level 19 has a slightly odd bed, which my flatmate has used, but it can be removed if you want to bring your own bed (or buy a bed).
We have window seat and table on the stairs, a large couch in the living room.
The building also has 24hr concierge (very handy for Amazon deliveries) and bike storage. While the building had a car park, we are not allocated one. But there are often spaces advertised for rent, so it might be possible to rent one.
About me: I have been living in share houses for about 9 years and am easygoing, tidy (but not OCD), very friendly. I hope to make the apartment a home, but definitely not a party house/loud music. I work long hours during the week, and am in and out on weekends. I love walking/hiking/outdoor activities, travel, good food, wine, coffee and cooking (when I find time!). Preference is for professionals.
Bills (except for internet, come to around £160 per month per person(council tax, electricity, cleaner). This is based on 3 occupants, so if a couple were to move in, the costs would be split amongst more people. Broadband would be additional and split equally.
Finally, I am waiting to hear from the landlord of details of lease renewal - rents are based on the current rent we are being charged (which I have asked not to increase). I plan to ask for a 12 month lease with the option to break after 6 months on 2 months notice. Agency fees will also apply.
I can do inspections on most weekdays between 8am and 8.30am or on Saturday 9th July (in the morning).
