Spacious double room for single occupancy in 4 bedroom period house with large garden. Available for either 7 day or weekday only letting. Short walk to Hackney Central - 3 stops to Victoria Line at Highbury and Islington, main line at Hackney Downs so quick route to Liverpool Street Station or buses to Central Line at Bethnal Green and District and Hammersmith and City Line at Whitechapel, and many buses to central London including 30 and 38. Room furnished with king size double bed, sofa, wardrobe, small desk, chest and built in shelving. Bathroom with shower is shared with one other bedroom. There is also a separate wc with shaver socket in the laundry room. Bedlinen and towels can be provided unless you prefer your own. This is a family house and very informal - we partly work from a floor of the house and so may have assistants working with us or visiting students - one of us is also a university teacher.
The room is available from January 4th 2015. Minimum 3 months preferred and maximum 4 months possible. Visitors vouchers may be purchased for street parking.
