THE ROOM
A very modern 12 square metre bedroom with en-suite bathroom in a 2 bedroom flat. The room has a double bed, a big cupboard with 3 doors, one big chest of drawers and 2 small (bedside) chest of drawers. We have a large, bright living room with all modern kitchen appliances and washing machine and a balcony with a nice view (5th floor).

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
The flat is in East Village, the former athlete's village during the Olympic Games. East Village is a very vibrant, young neighbourhood with the new post code E20. Just a few steps away we have Sainsbury's, a pizza takeaway, the nice neighbourhood pub/cafe, Better Gym (opening in August) and many more shops. Also just 5min walk away is the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre. And we also live just next to Queen Elizabeth Park.

THE RENT and AVAILABILITY
The current price is £207. 5 pw. The rent might increase a few pounds as we renew the contract on 5th August. Unfortunately I do not have the numbers yet. Superfast broadband is included, but no other bills. You would be included in the contract on 5th August, but it might be possible to move in a few days earlier. You will need to do the referencing with the agency, but they do not charge any fee for this (check out getlivinglondon. com to get more information about the neighbourhood). Stratford and Stratford International are currently in Zone 3, but will become Zone 2 in January 2016.

YOUR FLATMATE
I am a 26 year old girl from Switzerland doing my PhD in Cell Biology at UCL. I am a clean and tidy person and I expect my flatmate to be clean as well and to help keeping the flat tidy. I am also a calm person and I do not need to have party all the time. But I like to have an easy-going flatmate who likes to have a chat or dinner every now and then.

COUNCIL TAX
As I am student, I do not need to pay council tax if I live with another student. If you are a non-student, I would ask you to pay the full council tax yourself. With the 25% reduction (because I am student) this will be £85 per month.
