Double Room in Beautiful 2 Bed Flat
Hello Potential New Me-
I'm off on my travels to Australia so looking for a brilliant new flatmate for my lovely flat. I've been here for over 4 years, and have come to love this place, the neighbours and the management team - not to mention Roberto - my fab and friendly flatmate!
I am pretty flexible, as am making the move to Oz in January, but ideally would like to be about before I go [having the deposit back would be very handy!] So ideal move out would be early-mid December time. (16th/17th would be amazing as have a little break in my Panto contract to actually do the physical move too!)
The flat is bright and airy - with lots of storage throughout.
The room itself is huge - and I mean ACTUALLY huge not the London "huge"
At the moment it has all of my furniture in - as the flat is completely unfurnished - Roberto has begun sourcing furniture for the living room, but would happily sell on my bedroom [which consists of: Bed, Mattress, Sofa, Ikea Shelving Unit [you know, the square one for boxes..] Lamp, Desk, and Chair. Though with the rise of all of these online selling places, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem if you wanted to bring your own furniture too or if you didn't want all/any of my stuff.
The rent is £725 a month, and bills come to around £100-125, it can sometimes be a little more in the winter months with heating etc, and we also have a cleaner that comes fortnightly to blitz the whole flat which costs £20 each per month. [This is negotiable - but we are both so busy we really appreciate it!]
As I'm leaving, I'd need someone to take over the contract from me, which is kept with Dexters, so that includes a £969 safety deposit, as well as a one off referencing fee with Dexters. The contract is until July 2018, but Roberto has mentioned that he's planning to stay, so minimum is 8 months.
I'd say that a professional with their own interests, hobbies and friends would fit in perfectly. Don't get me wrong - we do enjoy a night in together, perhaps sharing dinner or a movie, but it's quite rare as we're both quite busy and Roberto is often using his weekends to travel Europe.
It's really worth coming to view the property to get a sense of how beautiful and welcoming it is, and of course to meet Roberto, my charming Italian Housemate who would be your roommate.
Here’s a snippet from the man himself:
“I am an italian professional who moved to the UK 4 years ago.
I work in the marketing department for an FMCG company based near Heathrow Airport.
During the week I spend most of my time out of the flat - with work but also gym and my greatest passion: volleyball. These keep me pretty busy.
I spend a third of the weekends in a year in London. The other two thirds I go to Coventry or - since I like travelling - I spend them around Europe/the world.
When I am in London for the weekend my boyfriend comes to stay with me. He is a Teacher at university. He very nice and friendly but most importantly very respectful of this apartment.”
Drop me a message/email for more information and we can arrange a viewing.
Thanks
Ali x
