Double room in amazing location!

They say location is everything and you'd be hard pushed to find a better one for such affordable rent. Our ground floor flat is a stones throw away from the Thames with a small green to go and catch some rays on just across the road from us. We're at the bottom of Richmond Hill so only a short walk away you'll find absolutely stunning views over the river and several lovely little pubs. The famous Richmond Park is also within walking distance. In the other direction we're only minutes away from the bustling yet refined Richmond High Street with ample restaurants, pubs and shops and the green. There is a large and well stocked Tesco Metro in the centre of the town with Waitrose, M and S and Wholefoods being the other main supermarkets, however there is a large Sainsburys in nearby North Sheen.

Richmond Station is about a fifteen minute walk and is on the District Line with regular tubes to Upminster and Tower Hill. The fast service overground will get you to Waterloo in under 20 minutes. Having the leafy and safe tranquillity of Richmond whilst being so close to Central London is perfect for those looking to get the best of both worlds and there are easy transport links to Heathrow.

The flat is a little tired, yet spacious and perfectly situated for the price. We have a shared living room with TV and dining table and the kitchen contains a microwave and a washing machine along with the usuals. Self-contained shower but no bath. Outside is a washing line, which we share with the next door flat and there is a small patio area. Parking is available for around ££50 a month with visitor spaces normally available and free of charge.
Rent is payable monthly and is according to room size. I pay for my room only, as it's the box room, whereas you and the other tenant also pay the bills along with your rent. Your monthly rent will therefore be approximately ££620 including all bills. Your room will include a chest of drawers, wardrobe and the base of a double bed (but no mattress).

The property is owned by The Royal British Legion and managed via an agency. As a result of this, there is a one off admin fee of ££156 and a Reference fee of ££72. The deposit is ££620.00.

I am a trainee teacher so I have early starts and will be spending most week day evenings doing boring course stuff, however my interests include running, going out, anything food related, film, tv and theatre. The other house mate is a Physicist, whose interests include travelling, reading, gigs and walking / camping. Although not a party house, we do occasionally go to the pub for a quiz or have movie nights with a bottle of something but essentially we all have our own lives and interests but enjoy living in a friendly and relaxed environment.
