Lovely double bedroom (available now) on the top floor of a huge detached Victorian family house in St. Margarets.

This is a large south-facing room (almost 5m square) and has wooden floors, wooden shutters and is furnished with an eclectic mix of mid-century vintage furniture. There is a smart TV with freeview and digital services + Wi-fi, a double divan bed containing 4 large storage drawers, and a quality pocket sprung mattress, a wardrobe, desk, chairs, pouffes, some original 1950's Tretchikov prints and a fabulous 70's grey suede dressing table. A hair drier, Egyptian cotton bed linens and towels all included if you wish and so ready to move in with just a suitcase!

You will be sharing the use of a small but well equipped eat-in kitchen. It has a breakfast bar and stools, sink, cooker, fridge, freezer, small dishwasher, microwave, toaster, Nespresso machine, blender etc. There is also a very spacious shared shower room (with lots of personal storage space) as well as a separate laundry room with ironing board and drying racks situated in the basement. All these facilities are entirely separate from the main house.

All bills are included as well as a weekly cleaner who also replenishes toilet rolls and detergents etc. to make life easier for everyone.

Access to the top floor flat is through the hallway of our family house and access to beautiful gardens at the rear. There is also off-street parking and a lockable bike shed.

The house is situated close to the river Thames and Richmond Deer Park. The centre of St. Margaret's village is a 5 minute walk away with a Tesco's local and some nice little independent shops, restaurants and pubs as well as a mainline station to Waterloo with regular trains leaving every 15 minutes. Richmond town - on the District Line - is a short walk away across the bridge on the other side of the river. The overground can get you into Waterloo in about 20 minutes and a cab can get you to Heathrow in about the same time. Nearby is the M3 motorway for the South Counties and coast and also the M4 for the West country. Great location for getting in and out of London in a flash.

Single professionals only (but no objection to the occasional overnight guest) and unbiased to age, race, gender and sexual orientation.
