We have a double room to rent in our Victorian terrace house on a quiet private road just off Royston high street. There is parking on a residential street (no restrictions) just a 2 minute walk away and you can walk to the train station in under 10 minutes. The room is furnished with a double bed, built in wardrobes, an Edwardian dresser and additional storage space.

The house has period features including a working wood burning stove in the lounge, original floor boards and original fire place in the room for rent.. There are 2 reception rooms, living room and dining room, a shared kitchen and bathroom and a basement which is also currently used as a weights/utility room. We have a courtyard garden with a shed and two vegetable beds. There is double glazing and central heating throughout.

You will be living with a professional couple and a friendly french bulldog. We would prefer a Monday to Friday lodger (rent could be renegotiated on this basis) but would consider full term let of the room for the right person.
