Double room for rent in beautiful family house

We are a young, friendly family of five - Jonathan, Lucy and three children (Lola - 12, Felix - 10, Astrid - 7) - looking for someone to live in our lovely home on Goldhawk Road and help with the children for 15 hours a week (not more) in return for a discounted rent of £50 per month.

Lucy works from home and needs 15 hours a week help, but can be relatively flexible about timing for the right person. Ideally however you would be available Monday-Friday for two hours a day in the afternoon, plus do one night's babysitting a week.

In our experience, the right person is female and either a student or someone who works part time. You must enjoy spending time with children and some childcare experience is vital. You will also need a clean driving license as there is a certain amount of driving to various after school activities. The two younger children go to school in High Street Kensington and will need collecting from there sometimes.

We have two cats, a ping pong table, a piano and a very large garden with a vegetable patch that needs tending, so if you love animals, play an instrument or like gardening that might be a bonus.

We have a cleaner that comes once a week, so we are not expecting you to clean. What we are looking for help with in your 10 hours a week is a mixture of the following:

- Driving (school run, after school activities, play dates)
- Help with homework
- Occasionally cooking for children
- One night a week babysitting
- Feeding the two cats and watering the garden when we are away

The room is a large double and fully furnished. It has its own bathroom and own side entrance. You essentially have your own floor on the lower ground, with a big shared kitchen. All bills including wifi (excluding phone) included.
