Double Room with parking & Equestrian Facilities

Our home

We are looking for a friendly flatmate, preferably female, who is an animal lover and happy to share our family home with two well behaved children. All our animals are friendly.

Our home Is a Grade 2 listed equestrian property set in 11 acres. We are located in the sought after village of Furneux Pelham, just 10 minutes drive from Bishops Stortford, about 20 minutes drive from Stansted Airport and just a mile from 2 great pubs/eateries.

The bedroom is located on the ground floor at the far end of the property with access through the living room. It has a large built in wardrobe and also a sofa bed in case you want to have a guest stay. You will have use of a well equipped kitchen/diner with an Aga, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier, a large living room and large shower also on ground floor (loo and sink used by our 7 & 10 year old children). All bed linen and towels included.

We have 3 dogs and 3 cats indoors and 3 rabbits, 9 chickens/cockerels and 4 horses outdoors. Our dogs and cats are not allowed in any carpeted areas of the house apart from our children's bedroom on the 1st floor.

External equestrian facilities include 6 stables, feed room, tack room, outside toilet, horse walker, hay barn, floodlight all weather ménage and 10 acres of grazing. Lots of amazing riding just on your doorstep.

If you have a horse and wish to bring it along there is the possibility of livery being provided for an additional fee

Other facilities can be provided at an extra charge (cooking, washing, ironing).
