are you looking for a cozy place to call home!?

I'm Andy, a photographer/artist/ lecturer. 1 room available from 31st March. (and housemate Sophie),

bright, cozy double rooms in a tidy terrace home.

we're respectful of people's space but sociable and very friendly; enjoy going out occasionally or staying in with the occasional glass of wine, cooking, conversation, playing music (I sometimes play guitar/sing).

It has a garden (it needs a bit of TLC at the mo tbh) with patio area for BBQ, and a space to sunbathe in the summer. (you know, if we have one...).

The tube is 5 minutes on the bus or a 12 min walk. The bus stop is 2 minutes from the front door, as are a couple of well stocked corner shops. (and a chippy). (don't forget to mention the chippy)...

Central London is approximately 50 mins away. Stratford 15 minutes by bus. City airport is 10 mins away and Standstead, via Stratford coach just over an hour away.

The house has good amenities - wifi, digital tv, washing machine, central heating.
There is an excellent Leisure Centre just 5 minutes up the road with a great gym, swimming pool and sauna, etc. Nearby is the Westfield Centre with a cinema and really great variety of shops, bars and restaurants.

Music, art, photography, literature, travel, cooking, and the occasional glass of wine are among our interests...There are no parking permits needed if you are a car owner.

We would prefer you are in full-time employment (or serious postgraduate/BA student with secure funds/employment) who is clean and tidy, reliable and easy-going and has a good sense of humour; references required. (not suitable for home worker.) (preferable, but not essential, to speak French - Andy is (trying) to learn French). perhaps artist/photographer.

oops, how could we forget. There is a cat called Leo; he is shared with our lovely next door neighbours (he's there most of the time but does pop by occasionally).. He's very clean and lovely.
