Room to let in SE London - £650 incl bills

The house

Hi,

I am looking to sublet the second bedroom in my flat to one person.

The flat:

The flat is in Sydenham, which is Zone 3, very close to Sydenham station (4 minutes walk).

This is on the national rail line to London Bridge in one direction, and Victoria in the other. Also on the London Overground line (East London line) which quickly gets you up to Shoreditch, Hoxton etc.

The house is a nice looking Victorian, with a new kitchen and bathroom, a sitting room and a shared garden.

The room is a double room, average size, which has just been painted.

The rent is £650 a month. Including all bills (maybe a bit more to cover gas in winter).

The deposit is £500 – which you get back when you leave.

It is available from 15th September.

Me:

I am 33, a New Zealander who has been living in London for 7 years. I am married – my partner is Japanese, and lives in Tokyo (hopefully he will be moving to London later next year).

I like collecting old things – I often go to markets – so I have lots of vintage stuff, or rubbish depending on your viewpoint....

I work as a librarian in central London. I'm tidy, clean and quiet – and appreciate having a quiet home... but like to have friends round for dinner or drinks.
