Peaceful room in lovely green neighbourhood

This is an ad for the right person - not just anyone!

It's a room in a flat in a block in SE London, in a lovely quiet area, zone 3, near Crystal Palace park.

There are three stations in walking distance with 30 mins or less travelling time to all of these places, Bromley, Canary Wharf, Croydon, Gatwick, London Bridge, Victoria, Whitechapel.

The room has a single bed, and some storage space, with your own fridge and kettle.

There is one bathroom, which we would share.

There are no bills. Wi-fi is included, private parking if required.

The room is offered on a weekday basis. £95 for 4 nights and £75 for 3 or fewer nights. Rent payable a month in advance. Deposit and references required.

About me. I am an arts professional, working from home, also studying, so I'm very busy, and prefer peace and quiet. I'm also vegetarian, so I don't allow the cooking of meat or fish, because of the smell.

About you. The room is best suited to someone who is at work all day and just needs a quiet space to sleep in, on the nights they have to be in London. 4 nights for less than the price of one in a hotel!

Living in the same space. I've had some great room mates in the past. Apart from the veggie and quiet requirements, cleanliness is the other issue. I'm a bit untidy because I'm always occupied, but hygiene is very important. I expect the bedroom, shared bathroom and kitchen to be kept clean and fresh at all times. I'm not neurotic about my expectations, but it's best to say at the beginning, then never mention them again.

On the occasions when we are both at home and not doing anything else, I would be happy to share a meal and conversation. I am very relaxed and easy to live with, and would enjoy someone the same.
