I have a furnished double room with dressing room to the side to rent in Tooting Broadway, SW17 – available immediately from 21st June 2012 for a minimum of 6 months. The house is furnished, very cosy/comfortable and has a lounge, separate dining room and garden as well as kitchen and bathroom. There would just be you and me living at the house, which is approx 7 mins walk from the shops and tube at Tooting Broadway. The house is on a residential tree-lined street so reasonably quiet and there is permit parking available on street if you have a car. There is Sky Plus and wireless broadband in the house too.

Rent is £700 pcm inclusive of all bills except gas, which is paid quarterly. All other bills are included – council tax, TV licence, electricity, water rates, landline phone calls & line rental, Sky Plus TV and wireless broadband. We also have a fab cleaner who comes once a fortnight and we take it in turns to pay her, just £16 a time.

Closest tube is Tooting Broadway on the Northern Line (7 mins walk) and also Tooting overland rail station (10 mins walk). Within 5 mins walking distance there is a choice of supermarkets; Sainsbury, Tesco & Co-op. There is on street parking outside, and always plenty of room to park. The parking permit costs £120 per annum (just £10 per month) from the Council.

A bit about me; I am 39, work in the city as a project manager. I am sociable and laid back; I like going to gigs/pubs/restaurants, cinema/theatre. I also enjoy scuba diving, & swimming. I’m looking for a nice, decent person to share with - not fussed on gender, orientation, age, sexuality as I'm easy going. Just really want someone who is clean and tidy, friendly, and who will respect the house and the person they live with. Would like someone who is sociable and would like to share a bottle of wine or do stuff together sometimes, but also someone who is their own individual with their own life and friends.
