Double room in Tottenham Hale near River Lea

A double room will be available in our friendly flatshare from 02 October in Tottenham Hale for £550/month all inclusive, £100 deposit needed.

The flat consists of ground floor and first floor. You’ll be living with 3 other people. We have a garden, spacious kitchen, new washing machine, new electric shower - good water pressure, two toilets etc ... The available room is fully furnished with double bed, on the first floor with a West facing window to the garden.

About us: we are 3 mix-nationality mix-gender professional peeps who consider this place a home. We all speak fluent or native English, and that's our only language in common (you will never feel excluded).

We live a quiet, but not boring lifestyle. We quickly become friends with newcomers and sometimes we do fun things together, without any pressure of course. In non-pandemic times we go to gigs, festivals, exhibitions, or go on camping trips. We enjoy nature, culture, movie nights, occasional pubs and barbecues. We are social introverts, we have great chats, deep chats, silly chats, occasional drink, or even dinner together, but we all recharge when we hide in our rooms :)

Ex-flatmates come back to visit us time to time, and many of them came back to live here for a second time. I consider this as a good reference on our side. :)

We also very well understand personal space and the need for quiet time.

There is a cat goddess living in the premises and she's above all rules. If you like a furry purry friend she will enjoy your attention :)

We've rented this place from a trusted private owner for many years.

We’re 5 minutes walk from Tottenham Hale tube (Victoria Line, Zone 3) and railway station (trains to: Liverpool St, Stratford, Stansted Airport, Cambridge). Central London takes 20 minutes. The River Lea is just a few steps from our door with picturesque walks/bike-rides along the towpath many miles north and south. Nearby green space includes the Walthamstow Wetlands, Tottenham Marshes and Markfield Park with its cosy café.

There are nice places around for coffee, drink, or a meal. Ferry Boat Inn is a lovely traditional pub with garden. Craving Coffee an art café that hosts an exciting variety of street food vendors.

For shopping: Tottenham retail park is 5 minutes walk, where you find Lidl, Iceland, Wilko, Tkmaxx, Asda Living, Boots, Next, JDs, Poundland, Argos, Currys, B&Q, Halfords, phone shops, Costa and many more. When you feel a little lazy or just need something late a Tesco Express is just over the road open till 11pm every day.
