Double room Mon-Fri in friendly flat near tube

I have a double room to let short-term, Monday-Friday in my Victorian two-bedroom, first-floor flat with balcony and garden on a nice quiet street. £500 per month including bills (and everything like cleaning products, hand wash and loo roll), plus £35 for a cleaner. There is permit parking on the street and a space in a secure bike hangar right outside.

The room has an almost floor-to-ceiling Ikea double wardrobe (great for storage), plus brand new chest of drawers and shelving units, bedside table with drawers, full-length mirror and blackout curtain. You can also store things in the loft. The bed is a small double divan with storage drawer, plus pocket sprung mattress.

The whole flat is double glazed and well soundproofed. Bills include Virgin package with top-speed broadband. Kitchen fully equipped (including washer-dryer, microwave, big fridge-freezer and all crockery/cookware etc). Bathroom has shower over bath. The cleaner comes once a week for two hours. I have a black cat called Salem who is very friendly and (fortunately) doesn't shed!

The street is not a through-road so very quiet. About a five-minute walk away is the high street, which has a big Sainsbury's; Walthamstow Village is about a 15-minute walk away for independent shops, bars, pubs and restaurants.

Public transport is great - about 10 minutes' walk to Walthamstow Central for the Victoria Line (22 minutes to Oxford Circus and you can always get a seat) and less than five minutes' walk to St James St for the train that goes through Hackney to Liverpool St in 15 minutes (or the same to Queen's Rd Overground).

I work full time as a journalist, office based and like my home to be a little haven - calm and tranquil; clean and tidy. I often socialise out after work but when I'm in I like pottering around and chatting etc. I'm looking for someone like minded to live with in the kind of harmony I've had with previous flat shares found via this website, where we were respectful and considerate of each other and communicated and got on well.
